Supersampling Mode on PlayStation®4 Pro

Find out the benefits of PS4 Pro Supersampling Mode and how to switch on the feature.

System software 5.50 allows users of a PS4™Pro console connected to an HDTV (resolution of 1080p or less) to enable Supersampling Mode. This mode improves image resolution when playing certain games.

How do I switch on Supersampling Mode?

  1. On your PS4 Pro system, go to Settings > Sound and Screen > Video Output Settings 
  2. Select Supersampling Mode > Enable Supersampling Mode.

If you are connected to a 4K display you will be unable to enable this mode.
