How to change PlayStation Store language

This article shows you how to change PlayStation Store language.

 
 

If you live in a country where a number of different languages are spoken you can choose the language your PlayStation Network account and PlayStation Store appears in.

Please be aware that not all content will be available in all languages, so check the language of content before purchase on the product detail screen.

Occasionally, if there is enough demand, we will make PlayStation Store available in more languages. To use PlayStation Store in a different language you will need to change your account settings to see your preferred language. The easiest way to do this is through account management on web browser using this method:

Web browser/PS App

You can reach Account Management in a number of ways:

  • PlayStation App

Tap [PlayStation Store] on the home screen and go to [Online ID] > [Account Settings].

  • PlayStation Store

Go to PlayStation Store. Sign in, go to your Online ID at the top of the page and click [Account Settings].

  • Account Management website

Click here and sign in for the account management site.

  1. Go to [Account] > [Account Details] and under [Identity] select [Edit].
  2. Choose your new language and save your changes.

PlayStation 4

  1. Go to [Settings] > [PlayStation Network/Account Management] > [Account Information] > [Language].
  2. Enter your password, select the language you want from the drop down menu and select [Confirm].
  3. Select [Confirm] in the new language.

PlayStation 3

  1. Go [PlayStation Network] > [Account Management] > [Account Information] > [Language].
  2. Enter your password, select the language you want from the drop down menu and select [Confirm].
  3. You will be signed out of PlayStation Network and will need to sign back in to see the change.

PS Vita/PS TV

  1. Go to [Settings] > [Account Information] and enter your password.
  2. Select [Language] and choose your preference.
