Android
● Lollipop 5.1.1 or older
When you download a video it is always downloaded to the device itself. If you have selected [Use SD Card] the video will be downloaded to the device and moved to the SD card for storage after download is complete – it is not downloaded directly to the SD card. Clear more space on your device and try the download again.
● Marshmallow 6.0 or newer
Have you chosen to ‘adopt’ the extra SD storage to ‘add it’ to your device storage? If not, you will need to do so and ensure that you have enough space for the video.
iOS
Check the Settings menu on your iOS device to ensure you have enough storage space to download your video. If not, delete items until there is enough space. Remember to back up any data you don't want to permanently lose.
Make sure you have a Wifi connection, or if you want to download or stream over your mobile network, ensure you have allowed this feature in the app settings.
You’ll usually only see this on rented videos which have a [Purchased] button shown instead of a [Watch] button. There are two reasons that this might happen:
When you download a rented video you can only watch it on the device you have downloaded it to – it is ‘bound’ to it.
Some video formats are not supported on mobile. For example you can’t watch 3D or HD videos.
The movie must be watched within 30 days of payment. Once viewing has been started you cannot continue watching it on another device and you have 48 hours to finish watching it. You can watch the video as many times as you want during the 48 hour period unless the 30 day limit is reached within that time.
Once playback has started it cannot be rented on that account again, or on any other device, until the end of the current rental period (48 hours from start of playback).
