In-game points and where to find them

Help with making sure you can find and use your in-game currency.

 
 

Points allow you to 'purchase' items within certain games. To use in game points, you must own the full game.  For example, when you use Uncharted Points in game, you can get instant access to extra online multiplayer items and bundles.

You can buy points from within a game or from PlayStation Store and you sometimes receive points with some versions of games.

If you have bought the disc version of a game you may need to redeem a code to get your points.

If you are having trouble finding your points, go to [Settings] > [PlayStation Network] > [Account Information] > [Services List] to check they have been applied to your account. Your points are shown under the main game title and titles are listed alphabetically.

If your points aren't shown in [Services List], try these steps:

  1. If you bought the game on disc, make sure it's for the same region as your PlayStation Network Account.
  2. Make sure you are signed in on the account that purchased the points.
  3. Go to [Settings] > [System Software Update] to make sure your system has the latest version of the system software. If there is an update file for a later version, it automatically downloads.
  4. Highlight the game from the content area and press Options on your controller to [Check for Update] to see if an update is needed.
  5. Complete the in game tutorial. Some games do not make their points available until after this stage.
  6. Connect to the game server by accessing online multiplayer – this should refresh your account and make the points appear.
  7. If you still cannot find your points contact us for further help.
