Playing Pinball Heroes is simple: you can use either the L button or R button to control the flippers on the table, while launching the ball into play is done using the analog stick. If you want to use the X, Square, Triangle or Circle buttons to play the game, simply switch to vertical mode.
Each of the themed tables feature various objectives and goals. For example, the Uncharted: Drake's Fortune table tasks you with hitting enemy targets that pop up in the middle of the table or hitting the ball through specific paths to obtain the highest score. The board also features a number of treasures that can be collected, just like you would find in the original PS3 game.
The Everybody's Golf table takes the idea of playing a quick nine holes of golf and transposes it to a pinball table. Your goal is to hit targets to get closer to the green until you can use the flipper as a putter and drop the ball into the hole before moving on to the next one. Of course, it won't be that easy because you'll encounter sand traps and have to deal with wind speed too.
When playing on the High Velocity Bowling table, your goal is to launch the ball into the table and see how many of the pins you can light up to determine your score. The last table, based on PAIN, is slightly more chaotic than the others - much like the game - and the object is to score as many points as you can and keep the ball in play as long as possible. It's fun, fast and extremely easy to grasp gameplay for all types of players.
