The story

From the studio that brought you Breaking Bad comes a PlayStation original series, set in a world where regular people coexist with super-humans referred to as “Powers”.

Powers is an edgy dramatic series that follows the lives of homicide detectives Christian Walker and Deena Pilgrim, as they investigate cases involving people with superhuman abilities as part of the Powers Division.

Set amid today’s paparazzi culture, Powers asks the questions, what if the world was full of superheroes who aren’t actually heroic at all? What if all that power was just an excuse for mischief, mayhem, murder and endorsement deals?

Sharlto Copley

Christian Walker

Moody yet charismatic, Christian Walker was once a star among the Powers elite, until his superhuman abilities were stolen in a violent battle with former mentor turned mass killer Wolfe.

Now a homicide detective in the Powers Division, Walker uses his unique expertise to investigate crimes, while desperately trying to regain his powers and his former glory.

Susan Heyward

Deena Pilgrim

Equal parts beauty and sarcasm, detective prodigy Deena Pilgrim was only recently assigned to the Powers Division and partnered with Christian Walker.

The daughter of a legendary lawman, she combines tremendous instincts and an eye for detail with an ability to bring down perps twice her size.

Noah Taylor

Johnny Royalle

Charming and deadly, Johnny Royalle has an effervescent smile and a murderous heart – albeit one that holds a surprising capacity for love.

A criminal mastermind with the power to pop in and out of locations at will, Royalle owns the Here and Gone club, a fashionable underground venue that may be part of a dark conspiracy.

Eddie Izzard

Once a mentor to up-and-coming Powers, Wolfe has spent two decades incarcerated in the high-security prison known as “The Shaft”.

His terrible abilities kept in check through a brutal regimen of surgical procedures, pushed well beyond the edge of madness, Wolfe still shares an unbreakable bond with his former pupil – Christian Walker.

Michelle Forbes

Retro Girl

The undisputed icon of the Powers community, Retro Girl is a paragon of justice, selflessness… and business acumen.

Her willingness to put herself at risk for the good of others is matched only by her ability to manage her globe-spanning personal brand and countless endorsement deals.

Olesya Rulin

Street-smart but vulnerable, teenage Power wannabe Calista is always looking for her next move. She will do almost anything to further her dream of making it as a Power.

Logan Browning

A powerful star in the making, Zora has the ability to manipulate light to forceful effect. Groomed for a position among the Powers elite from a young age, as Zora’s powers grow her patience fades.
