How to redeem a voucher code

You can redeem your voucher code in Account Management or at the checkout when you make a purchase.

  1. Go to [Settings] > [PlayStation Network] > [Account Information] > [Wallet] > [Add Funds] and press (X button).
  2. Select [Redeem Code].
  3. Carefully enter the code and select 'Continue'.
  4. The credit or content is now applied to your account.
  1. Go to PlayStation Store or sign in to the account management site.
  2. Select 'Redeem Prepaid Card' from the home page or go to the Account tab and select 'Redeem Prepaid Card' from the links on the left of the page.
  3. Carefully enter the code and select 'Continue'.
  4. The credit or content is now applied to your account.

  1. Sign in to your local user and go to [Account Management] > [Redeem Codes] or in PlayStation Store scroll to the bottom of the left menu and select [Redeem Codes].
  2. Carefully enter the code and select 'Continue'.
  3. The credit or content is now applied to your account.

Did you know?

Some vouchers require activation by the retailer

Some voucher codes need to be activated by the retailer at the time of purchase. If you're having trouble redeeming, check your voucher — if it says ‘no value until activated at register’ on the front and back, please check with the retailer that it was correctly activated.

  • If the voucher code came with another purchase, what product was it included with?
  • Proof of purchase and/or name of the retailer (if applicable)
  • Region of the voucher (some vouchers have a flag on the front)
  • Valid from date and expiry date
  • Your Sign-in ID (email address)
  • Your Online ID
