It’s quick and easy to get PS Now up and running on PS4 or PC...

Setting up

PS Now on PlayStation  4

  • First, head to PlayStation Store from your PS4 home screen, scroll down to the PlayStation Now tab and select your preferred subscription length to claim your free trial. 
  • If you’ve already used your seven day trial, you can buy your preferred subscription directly. Or to browse the games available, select “Subscription” then choose “Launch App”.  Then select "All Games". The PS Now app will then be added to your home screen.
  • From the PS Now app, you can choose any of the games available and start streaming them instantly.
  • Alternatively, pick a game and select “My List” to add it to your roster of games to play later. 

Setting up

PS Now for Windows PC

  • To stream PS Now games to your PC, you'll need to download the dedicated app to your desktop.
  • Once installed, you can either sign in to an existing subscription, or start your trial.
  • Next, connect a DUALSHOCK 4 wireless controller or other compatible controller to any USB port to start playing.

PlayStation Now

  • How much does PS Now cost?

    A PlayStation Now subscription costs just €14.99 per month, giving you unlimited access to a selection of over 500 games.

  • What devices are supported?

    PlayStation Now is available on PlayStation 4 and Windows PC or laptop*. 

  • What games can I play on PS Now?

    There are currently over 500 PS2, PS3 and PS4 games available to stream with PS Now - check out our games page to see what's available and the new titles being added to the service.

  • Can I save my PS Now game progress and continue playing later?

    Yes – you’ll be able to save your game progress to the cloud and continue playing next time you access your PS Now game, providing it’s still within your subscription period.

  • Can I play my PS Now games on a different PS4?

    Yes – by signing in to your Sony account on a different PS4, you can access your PS Now games.

  • What kind of internet connection do I need for PS Now?

    As a minimum broadband speed, we recommend 5Mbps. We also recommend using a wired connection while limiting the use of other network connected devices to get the best experience.

  • Can I play online multiplayer games with PS Now?

    If a game includes online multiplayer modes, you'll be able to access these just as you would if you owned the game on disc or download, meaning you can play fellow PS Now players as well as those playing disc or download versions of the game.

  • Will all the games’ original features be present in the PS Now version?

    Some in-game features in the PS Now version of a game may differ from those in the disc-based or download versions of the title. These may include DLC add-on incompatibility, reduced resolution, restricted access to in-game stores, lack of user-generated content functions and stereo sound compatibility. Also, game progress will only be saved to PS Now servers.

  • Will I have to download any additional apps or software to access PS Now?

    PS Now is accessible via PlayStation Store on your PS4, requiring no additional downloads.

  • Do I need to be a PlayStation Plus member to use PS Now?

    No – PS Now is a separate service from PS Plus.

  • Can I create a wish list?

    Yes, by using My List. You can keep track of what you want to play, whether you have a PS Now subscription or not; simply select your favourite titles on the app by pressing the cross button to open the game page, choose “My List” and pick up to 50 of your most wanted PS Now titles to get easy access to your favourite games.

  • What does streaming mean?

    When you play a game via PS Now, you’ll stream it direct from our servers over your broadband internet connection.

    This mean you won’t have to download anything to your PS4 or PC and the entire game library is immediately available for you to play as and when you want.



PS Now on PC



PS Now devices no longer supported

  • Which devices are affected?

    PS Now will no longer be available on PS3, PS Vita, PlayStation TV, Samsung Smart TVs, Sony Bravia TVs or Sony Blu-ray players.

    This does not affect PS Now on PS4 or Windows PCs and laptops; you’ll still be able to access hundreds of PS2, PS3 and PS4 games as usual.

  • When is this happening?

    From 15th May 2017, PS Now will no longer be available on 2016 model Sony Bravia TVs*.

    From 15th August 2017, PS Now will no longer be available on PS3, PS Vita, PlayStation TV, Samsung Smart TVs, 2014-2016 model Sony Bravia TVs** or Sony Blu-ray players.

    *Sony Bravia TVs: KD-100ZD9, KD-55XD8005, KD-49XD8005, KD-43XD8005, KD-55XD700x, KD-75ZD9, KD-49XD8099, KD-43XD8099, KD-49XD8305, KD-49XD700x, KD-65ZD9, KD-49XD8088, KD-43XD8088, KD-43XD8305, KD-50SD8005, KD-49XD8077, KD-43XD8077, KD-65XD750x.

    **Specifically SD85, XD94 and XD93 Series.

  • Can I still subscribe to PS Now on these devices?

    No - PS Now is no longer available on the devices mentioned above. You can subscribe either via your PS4 console, or on PC.

  • Can I cancel my subscription?

    Yes – you can cancel your PS Now subscription at any time so that it expires on the date that your next monthly subscription fee is due.

You will not be able to use your PlayStation Now subscription (“PS Now”) on PS3, PS Vita, PS TV, Samsung Smart TVs, Sony Bravia TVs (2014-2016*) and Sony Blu-Ray players from 15th August 2017 or on select Sony Bravia TV 2016 models** from 15th May 2017 (the “Affected Devices”). You will still be able to access hundreds of PS2, PS3 and PS4 games on PS Now on PS4 and PC.

You can buy a PS Now subscription on the Affected Devices until 15th March 2017 and, so long as you don’t let it lapse, play until 15th August 2017 (or until 15th May 2017 on Bravia TV 2016 models). After 15th March 2017, you can purchase and use your PS Now subscription on PS4 and PC.

If you want to ensure your subscription does not lapse, do not cancel it and check you have sufficient wallet funds to pay the recurring subscription fees or, if you do not have sufficient wallet funds, that auto-funding is set to on in your account settings and you have a valid payment method registered to your account.

A quick reminder that you can cancel your subscription at any time so that it expires when your next monthly subscription fee is due. So, if you want your subscription to end before 15th August 2017, please remember to cancel it before 15th July 2017 (and if you want it to end before 15th May 2017, the date the service ceases on Bravia TV 2016 models, cancel it before 15th April 2017).  For details about how to cancel go to
