Yes, any PlayStation 5-compatible arcade stick or leverless controller can be used to play MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls. You can customise your button inputs by accessing the button configuration menu from the Character Select Screen or mid-match Pause Menu.

At the beginning of each match, players will only have access to their first two characters. To assemble the rest of your team, you must meet one of the following conditions:

• Perform a successful stage transition or wall-bounce by successfully landing specific moves, combos or a throw next to the edge of an area.
• Lose a round.

Yes. MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls includes a wide range of single-player and local multiplayer content that can be enjoyed offline. You can experience Episode Mode, play local Versus matches, enhance your skills in Training Mode, take on All-Star Arena, explore Character Guides and more without an internet connection. 

Modes such as Arcadia Rumble are also fully playable offline, with optional online features for an enhanced experience (PlayStation Account required).

Some modes require an online connection and a PlayStation Account, including Online Lobby, Room Matches (Private Rooms), and Ranked and Casual online matches.
