  • PlayStation Plus Premium members can play all of the games included in the PlayStation Plus Essential and Extra plans, and choose to download or stream anything from the Games Catalogue and the Classics Catalogue. The PlayStation Plus Premium membership plan also unlocks limited-time access to select top games in the Game Trials library.

At any time, you can purchase a new membership that will start when your existing plan ends.

To change from your current plan to a lower tier plan, sign-in to the settings page for your account for PlayStation Network and choose the Subscriptions tab to manage your PlayStation Plus membership plan. Your membership will continue on a lower tier plan after the next payment date.

To move to a higher tier membership plan, you can upgrade immediately by purchasing your chosen plan. You will pay a pro-rated fee to bring your payments to the level of your new plan for the remainder of the paid membership period.

You can add the monthly games to your game library to download and play at any time as long as you have an active membership plan. The Game Catalogue and Classics Catalogue will also be available to members of their corresponding membership plan, but some games may have an end date when they will be removed from the PlayStation Plus service.

Most games available across the different PlayStation Plus game libraries are available to download to your PS4 or PS5 console*. The Classics Catalogue also features a wide selection of classic PlayStation 3 games that are available via streaming only.  PlayStation Plus Premium members can also choose to stream games from the Game Catalogue and Classics Catalogue to their PS4 or PS5 console or to a PC.

*PS5 games can only be downloaded to a PlayStation 5 console. PS4 games may be downloaded to either PS4 or PS5 console.

Yes, all PlayStation Plus membership plans enable access to available online modes that require a membership, in games across all PlayStation consoles.

Cloud streaming is a PlayStation Plus Premium benefit available on PS4 and PS5 consoles as well as PC. Select the streaming option from a game listing and you should be able to play after a short wait. You can view PC streaming requirements here. 

High speed (at least 5 Mbps) internet connection required. Accessible content varies by subscriber age (18+ required when streaming via PC App). Certain games may not be available to stream.

The cloud streaming benefit that is included with PlayStation Plus allows streaming of select original PlayStation, PSP, PS2, PS3, and PS4 games within the Classics Catalogue and Game Catalogue libraries. Certain games within these libraries, including PS5 games, are not available to play via cloud streaming, and must be downloaded in order to access.

Yes, you can purchase DLC and add-on content for the games you download from the games catalogue through PlayStation Plus. If your membership expires, or if the content leaves the service you’ll also lose access to the DLC and add-on content associated with that game. Once you resubscribe to the service or decide to purchase the title, you’ll be able to use your purchased DLC and add-on content again. Please note DLC and add-on content is not supported when streaming a title.
