What is the PlayStation Protection Policy?

The PlayStation Protection Policy is a service provided in partnership with Domestic & General, allowing you to cover your PS4 system against accidental damage, as well as extending cover against faults and breakdowns for up to 4 years after your original manufacturer's warranty expires.

How much does it cost to cover my PS4?

Protecting your PS4 system with the PlayStation Protection Policy costs £4.99 per month.

If you’re within 90 days of your original manufacturer’s warranty, this runs on a monthly rolling basis and you can cancel your cover at any time.

If you are over 90 days into your original manufacturer’s warranty, there is a minimum contract period of one year (12 months at £4.99/month).

What do I get with PlayStation Protection Policy cover?

When you cover your PS4 system with the PlayStation Protection Policy you get:

Protection against accidental damage and breakdowns (including parts and postage).

All diagnostics and repairs carried out by our authorised repair centre.

If it turns out that your console can’t be fixed, we’ll replace it at no extra charge.

The DUALSHOCK®4 controllers that came with your PS4 system are also covered.

How do I purchase my cover?

To purchase the PlayStation Protection Policy for your PS4 system, head to the PlayStation Protection Policy website and click Get Started, then follow the steps to register your PS4 system and purchase your cover. You’ll need your console’s serial number, which can be found on the back of the PS4 system, and the date you purchased it.

How do I make a claim?
