How to use PlayStation App or web browser to top up your wallet with your mobile phone

This article explains how to use your mobile phone to top up your SEN wallet for PlayStation Store purchases on PlayStation App or web browser.


To use this payment method your mobile account must be with one of the following network providers:


  • Your mobile SIM card and your SEN account must both be registered in the UK to add funds to your wallet via SMS.
  • The payment will be deducted either from your pay as you go account or your next phone bill.
  • Although the amount you can top up each day is limited to £30.00, your network provider may also impose spending limits. These limits cannot be changed for individual customers.

How do I top up with mobile payment?

Choose your purchases and select ‘Add Funds’ on the Purchase Confirmation screen or go to Account Management.

You can reach Account Management in a number of ways:

  • PlayStation App

Tap [PlayStation Store] on the home screen and go to [Online ID] > [Account Settings].

  • PlayStation Store

Go to PlayStation Store. Sign in, go to your Online ID at the top of the page and click [Account Settings].

  • Account Management website

Click here and sign in for the account management site.

  1. Select ‘Add Funds to Wallet’ if you have not been directed to the payment method selection page.
  2. Select ‘Use Mobile’.
  3. Choose the amount you would like to add and select ‘Continue’.
  4. Carefully enter your mobile number.
  5. You should see a message confirming that we have sent you a text:
  6. Once you have received the text and you have replied*, you will see a message confirming that we have received your text. Messages are charged at your standard rate.
  7. If your payment was successful, the funds will be visible in your wallet and you will see a confirmation message.

You will also receive an email from Sony Entertainment Network and a text message confirming that your wallet has been topped up. The text message may be shown as being sent from PayForit.
