Transfer content from PlayStation 3 to PlayStation Vita

Learn how to transfer PlayStation Store content from your PlayStation 3 to your PS Vita.

 
 

If you have a PlayStation 3 and PS Vita activated on your SEN account, you can transfer compatible PlayStation Store content between them by connecting the systems with a standard USB cable.

Alternatively, you can download PlayStation Store content directly to the PS Vita from the Download List by going to [PlayStation Store] > [Options] > [Download List].

How do I transfer content from PlayStation 3 to PS Vita?

  1. On the PlayStation 3 system, select the local user associated with the account your content was purchased on and connect the PS Vita via USB cable.
  2. Select [Content Manager] on the PS Vita and the option to [Copy Content] should appear.
  3. Select copy content from the PlayStation 3 to PS Vita and choose the type of content you are copying.
  4. Choose the content you want to copy and select ‘Copy’.
