How to download PlayStation Store content to your PlayStation Portable

This article tells you how to download content you have purchased from PlayStation Store to your PSP.

 
 

Where will I find my purchases?

After purchase, your content is added to your Download List on your activated device. Your download list is arranged in date order, with the newest first, so recent purchases will be at the top of the list.

To download your purchases from your PSP download list:

  1. On the XMB Menu, go to > [PlayStation Network] > [Account Management] > [Transaction Management] > [Download List].
  2. Select [Download List] and press (X button).
  3. Choose the content you want to download and press (X button).
  4. The item will download to your PSP system.
  5. Once the content has been copied go to [Games] or [Video]* > [Memory Stick] to install or view your content.

To download your purchases from your PlayStation 3 to your PSP:

  1. Make your purchase on [PlayStation Store] on the PlayStation 3 system.
  2. Go to > [PlayStation Network] > [Account Management] > [Transaction Management] > [Download List].
  3. Choose the PSP game you want to download and select [Download].
  4. Once you have downloaded the PSP game to your PS3 go to [Game]
  5. On your PS3, select the game you want to copy by pressing [Triangle button].
  6. Select ‘Copy’ from the menu on the right and press [X button].
  7. Once the content has been copied go to [Games] or [Video]* > [Memory Stick] to install or view your content.

Note:

You can only view SD (Standard Definition) videos on your PSP and rented video content is subject to restrictions on the length of time you may view the content and where you may transfer it. See PlayStation Video usage Restrictions for more details.
