That's the same Postman that delivered my DiRT 4 copy, he swam the Channel all night long to get that to me one day after the Official Release!! Top Marks to that man - the Postal Service needs guys like that. Ava

Well... that's PD for ya.. Sometimes, you get the impression that it was built for Controller Users, and Wheels were added as an After Thought... You can adjust pretty much everything in other Games, apart from this one.

Maybe it's the different Firmware for the wheels... as the Specs of the T3PA and G29 have the same number of Bits (think its 1024 Steps) in the specifications of both these Pedal Sets. I run a Logitech G25 Pedal Set from my old PS3 days.. had them already set up in my Driving area, so just added an extra Cable Connector to the Thrustmaster Wheel to get everything compatible... and the feeling feels pretty good.. it's has never been an issue driving. I've swapped the Resistance Pistons around and also have a set of Bungee Cords wrapped around the Pedals to increase the Force needed to use each Pedal.. so there is no ON/OFF feeling that is noticeable to the extreme of what other people feel with no Mods. It doesn't make me any faster.. but the feeling is very good.. Fastness comes from practice!!

It can be annoying, but you get used to it... It's not too bad actually.. the cars still drive.

Whoo Hooo Community Challenges.. I don't see myself getting many Points out of that list. Possible to get 2 Points from that List. Attending and taking part in 1 Race during GT Sport Community Night Completing an 'OPC Racing GT3 Championship' race The rest is not remotely possible. Winning a Community Night even.. NOT possible if using Tuned Cars. Getting a Pole, Winning a GT3 Championship Race, setting the Fastest Lap.. (Definitely NOT Possible). Possible to get 2 Points from that List. 1:05.00 at Brands Hatch Indy Circuit Reach a speed of 200mph at Autodromo Nazionale Monza I'm super crap at Drifting, and Juggle a Cone.. Hmmmm Oki... 4 Points fairly easy.. the rest would require some skill which I don't have. LOL

I never looked at the Gauge... just hoped that the Lobby was set up the same as the Practice Lobby and the Fuel was oki I'm quite happy with everyone else Refuelling.. makes the stops longer LOL But.. yeah.. that Supra does drive pretty good with Short Shifts.. I'm only in the Lancer because I first thought it was the GR.4 version. Plus some of the other Cars were already taken by the time I Signed up.. The Porsche would have probably been my choice.. it's very handy on most of the Tracks.. At some point I'm going to have to do some more tinkering with the Settings.. the Base Settings are good, but can only hope that it can be improved on..

Nah... Fuel was oki.... had a quick look at the Fuel Gauges in other cars... the Lancer was doing great on Fuel.. some of those other cars seem quite thirsty.. especially Rens!!! Wasn't going to stop but unforeseen circumstances intervened.. Did a race in an Open Lobby the night before.. and that tactic of Non-Stopping worked very well actually.. Pit Stopping was taking roughly 30 seconds out of the Race Time.(a little shy of 30 seconds but you have to slow down to get into the Pits and speed up coming out)... I came across the line around 30 seconds after Tassie even after getting caught out with Smokey and having also to do a Stop... so who knows.. I have to thank PD for that Setup.. the Base Setup was pretty good.. I didn't change much from their original Settings. Just minor adjustments to the Aero, Gearbox, Diff and Anti-Roll Bars.. everything else was standard..

That was a fun night of driving.. enjoyable. Had plans to run the whole race without stopping, as I've been testing this for a few days, and 14 laps was doable.. Little accident with Smokey put that strategy out as the car suffered some damage.. but fun with Phoenix behind me for a few laps, until we gently swapped positions.. knew he was going to stop at some point so didn't fight too much.. actually his car was a lot faster down the straights than mine.. felt like a sitting duck.. Rest of the race was pretty uneventful.. Looking at the Lap Times.. everyone was pretty much on it.. very close.. Should be a good Season : ) Looks like I'm going to have to chuck a 'Fat Racer' out of the boot.. the top end speed is shockingly bad.. and the next track has some good long straights.. Going to have to work very hard on a Gearbox.. FUN FUN FUN.. Looking at how much fuel is being used was interesting.. hopefully that will play in to my hands.. as that Lancer was not too bad on the fuel consumption.. so lets hope we have to fuel a race at some point. Put ya name back on the List.. So, what.. there was an accident.. I'm not losing any sleep over it... have fun with the Game with us!!! Ava

I've had a look at making a setup, but nothing is improving on the Base Car at present.. tried to help, but the Tyre wear increased, so don't think I will be using that one.. My Lap times are not really that competitive, so a Base Car will be adequate.. just have to get used to finishing well down in the order. Scrap a few points here and there. Just playing to drive with other people.. make a change from not even putting a car on track.
