PlayStation wireless gold headset microphone is too low

Created 20/08/2019

hello, I bought the PlayStation wireless gold headset and the sound is great and it’s very comfortable but the microphone is just very bad like I don’t think there was an effort made here, my friends always complain about how the microphone is not clear whatsoever and how it sounds like I’m in the kitchen. Everyone would love to have a normal microphone sticking out much better than a built in on that sounds like you’re in the kitchen. I’ve tried so many ways over the past couple of days to fix this issue I don’t know if it’s a all wireless headphones issue or just my headset (which I bought a couple of days ago) is broken already or something, but I need asisstance with this issue because I’m very furious that I paid $99 for a headset that sounds like I’m in the kitchen

so once again please reply

thanks

You have it on the right way?

It sounds like you have it on back-to-front. That's exactly how they sound in that instance.

Also you can check the mic level. (Settings) > [Devices] > [Audio Devices]

    Adjust Microphone Level

Adjust the audio input level of a headset or USB microphone for chatting or broadcasting.
While you use the voice recognition feature, this setting is disabled.

Have you tried increasing the volume via Settings/Devices?
