Hi,
About to buy a TV in the next few days but don't know which one is best out of these...

SONY BRAVIA KD65XG8796BU 65" or SAMSUNG QE65Q67RATXXU 65"

I also know the Samsung one has a 15ms input lag response time but cant find out the input response time on the Sony TV listed above. Kinda need the best recommendation for gaming out these but also want a good picture and colour etc. Also does anyone know the response time for the Sony one ?

Found some info on the TVS on this site below and by the looks of it the Samsung one is the best option?

But what do people think? Thanks.

I don't think we can add much more than the reply you got over at https://community.sony.co.uk/t5/android-tv/can-anyone-answer-this/td-p/2648398

Personally I'd probably go with the Samsung out of the two as I currently use a Samsung with my pro, it works well and I have no experience of Sony Bravia tvs to draw on  (I'd personally be looking further up the QLED or OLED ranges), but that means nothing really.

Unless people have personal experience of both and can compare them like for like you're just going to get mixed views.

They both look identical in specs but one runs android and the other runs tizen.

Now if tizen was any good then samsung would be using it for their top of the line phones. But they instead choose to run android.

So even if the Samsung was better you may end up with a tv that Samsung abandons support for quickly. So any bugs in the tv you maybe stuck with for the life of the tv.

I got a sony android tv in 2016 and it is still receiving updates. Plus with android you can rearrange the home screen to your liking.
