can anyone help

we have a ps4 which my 12 yo plays fortnite

for some reason the headset microphone has stopped working

we have checked all the settings on ps4 and it recognises the headset but not the attached microphone

we have even bought new headsets and controllers but it hasn’t repaired the problem

thanks in advance

    Which headset/s?

I'm assuming it worked previously, can you confirm this?

Have you tried it on another controller (if it's plugged in to the controller 3.5mm jack)

From (Settings) > [Devices] > [Audio Devices] check the input device is set and mic level (if the mic is then seen)

Settings - Devices - Audio Devices, is Output Device set to Headset Connected to Controller? Output to Headphones set to All Audio?

Sound and Screen - Audio Output Settings make sure Primary Output Port is set to HDMI OUT.

If none of that fixes it then try a system restore. Settings - Initialisation - Restore Default Setting.
