Headset feedback issue - Help pls

Today I've been experiencing microphone feedback/interference on my hyper X headset that is wired to the controller. This problem has cropped up out of nowhere, I've found that I get a loud static notice come through my microphone when I plug in my charger cable (unofficial ps cable) and when I hold my controller near the extesion lead if the controllers not charging. Also tried a pair of ear phones and they didn't have this issue, why?!?

If anyone else has experienced this problem or knows why it might be happening pleeeaase help :(

It sounds like interfence from the charging cable you're using to be honest.

Feedback and interference are different things entirely, your issue, from what you describe, is interefence.

If there built for IOS/apple products DO NOT BUY...

If they have IOS digital inline remote controls DO NOT BUY...

IF there built for Android and have Manaul volume dials and manual slider mute button on the inline controlls they have a higher chance of working...

IF the Mic requires 3 volts intead of 2 volts to work do not buy...

The cheaper the 3.5mm in ear unit the more likely to work...

The free versions bundled with android tablets for example are cheap junk not built for IOS so worked

Samsung third party external built under contract via AKG for there mobile phones line don't becaus there IOS versions rebranded...

All of them have to be wired... Bluetooth was never supported from day one as stated in october 2013...

Check the headphones out on another device (several would be better) to see if it does it on that as well or just the DS4.

If the problem persists with every device, then the headphones are the problem, take them back and get it replaced.
