I have purchased R6 credit today, from the ps store, but it will not show up on the game, as it says I have 0 R6 credit. when I try to open the store within the game, it says "There is no content. It might not be for sale yet, or might no longer be for sale" what can I do? I have contacted Ubisoft and they said to contact PlayStation support as the content is purchased through the PlayStation store and they have no visibility over it.

All you need to do is purchase the correct disc or purchase the PlayStation store version of the game.

The product ID code on the game disc and case determines where the game is intended for sale. Game disc's are region free and will play on any PS4 system however DLC and in game currency are not region free which is why you are facing this problem.

Region mismatch will be the problem your game disc is imported from another region to that of the region of your PSN account, this is why you have the content unavailable message via the in game store.

DLC and in game currency is region locked for example DLC purchased from the EU PlayStation store will not be compatible with a US game disc.

Changing regions of account cannot be done the simple solution is to replace the game disk for the correct region or purchase the PlayStation store version of the game.

You buy the game again, this time from the same country your PSN account is registered to. That's how you do it.

Your copy of the game is from a DIFFERENT region to that of your PSN account. ALL DLC is region locked. This is why your in-game currency isn't appearing. You NEED the game disc that's intended for sale in the country your PSN account is registered to in order to get the microtransaction you purchased.

okay, I understand now, but when I buy it do I need to make a new account on the game or will it automatically change the region and the credit will show up?

You need to play on the account you purchased the microtransaction on. How else do you expect to get it? Microtransactions are account locked, only the purchasing account can use them.
