I have sent the verification email for my PS4 account around 3-4 times to my email now and it's still not coming through, thus I cannot access the playstation network and I do not know how long this will take??

Why can’t I find the verification email?

If you are having trouble finding the verification email, there are a few troubleshooting steps to try:

    • Search for in all of your mailboxes, including any spam or junk folders.
    • On your PlayStation system, head to the Account Management section and double check that the Sign-in ID email address is correct. If the address is incorrect, follow the steps at the bottom of the page.
    • Visit the PSN network status page. If any of the services are experiencing network issues, this may be the reason for a delay in the verification process.
    • If you still haven’t received the email please contact PlayStation Support. You can find the appropriate contact number by clicking here (copy and paste the link)!/ and typing ‘verify email’ into the search bar — the ‘call us’ option will appear at the bottom of the page.

I had the same problem Yesterday . The only way I got around it was to install the PlayStation app on my phone and requested the email. It then worked straight away!

You may remember that something arose in "Deleting Account"  Thread a while back

As Sony made changes to their ToS, we are now able to request a Deletion of our PSN Accounts, and they can also Delete them if they are no longer being used - 24 months I believe.

Well,  I had an Account that I have not been using for a while, loaded it up to my PS4 and the email was not being recognized.   MY first thoughts,  Account has been Compromised.

So,  I go to check my email associated with the Account, go to sign into that and NOT happening,  Email does not exist.   Oki  not a problem, my client that I use, delete email Accounts after 90 days if you do not use them.

I basically, remake that same email address with the client again and proceeded to log into my PSN Account,  works this time as the email that was associated with the PSN Account is now working once more.

Now, my PSN Account wants to verify my Account, so is requesting me to send an confirmation email to my email Account,   fine,   done and waiting for that email for 30mins or so.  Not arriving and has been mentioned in Threads a lot recently.

This was late at night, so decided to call it a night and sleep.

24hr later, request some more confirmation emails.   again,  nothing coming through.

I logged into my email and tested it by sending an email from one of my other Accounts,  working fine.

I then proceeded to load my PSN Account to my Mobile App and requested from there.

I had both PS4 and the App running at the same time.

It was a while back now, so cannot really remember if the confirmation email came from the App or the PS4.     mentioned the App the other day, and thinking hard at all my procedures, it looks like that is the method that actually worked for me.    The App.

The main thing I took from that - Log into my Gmail account that I use for my US PSN account so the email doesn't get closed lol. So thank you

I don't remember having any trouble with receiving the activation email for either of my accounts, but I could have just got lucky

LOL      YES    Always check the email is alive and working,  your PSN Account relies on it being Active.

I believe PSN Network is just temperamental at the best of times,  just have a look at all the problems with adding Credit Cards.   Speaks volumes of the Sony Network.

As for the PSN Accounts,    After I found out the ToS had changed, I went though ALL my PSN Accounts, and every single one was working fine a little while back.  But I only checked them on the Mobile App.  I could sign into all of them.  Never loaded them to the PS4 itself to check as they are loading to the PSN Network oki.

Then a few weeks later, I thought, I would load one of the Accounts back to the PS4.  NOT happening.

I've now checked the other Accounts, and hardly any of them sign in,  just states wrong email and password.     Can only assume that my email client has deleted my email addresses as in the case of the one I tried to put onto the PS4.

I have been trying non stop. Tried changing to partner's email address then tried via computer instead of playstaion.  Nothing. I can log in but receive no emails to verify.

I then tried an old playstation account that I'd created a couple years back with a different email address...couldn't remember password and clicked the relevant box. No email from them!

I just had this problem, and I can tell you that if you requested the email initially from a PS4, then your best bet is to install the Playstation app, try to sign in with the same account, and then request the email. If you still receive nothing, then change the email ID to an alternative email and it should work instantly; I tried it on every single platform that I had for over an hour and got nothing with my old hotmail sign-in, but once I switched my sign-in ID to a Google account I got an email in less than 20 seconds.

Just saying, that's the way you have to do it.

I have the same problem. In fact, I can't receive any emails from Sony at all. Try to check the spam folder and see if it's there. Need HELP.

If you are not receiving mail from Sony..     Check with your email Client that you are receiving mail...  any mail.

Firstly,  determine that you are actually receiving mail from any source and if you are..   request the mail from various sources that Sony operate..   Namely..  Web App, Mobile App  etc

I don't understand. I can't play any of the 5 games I got because i cannot sign into PSN. I cannot sign into PSN because I cant receive the verification email (2 DIFFERENT email accounts, checked all my inbox, spam, and junk folders). Why cant your servers sent the verify email to me? Did I waste 4 Bills because I cant freaking login
