Can't sign into my PSN account

Whenever I try to sign into my PSN account, I get a message pop-up saying 'This feature is temporarily unavailable' with the error code CE-41489-6. I can't find anything about this error code and I've had this problem for around a month.

    Odd you couldn't find anything. Are you on the latest system software 6.71? If not, update.

    A few non-destructive things to try;

    Power off your router/modem for a while then restart.

    Go into safe mode (with console fully off, press and hold the console's power button until you hear a second beep, then release) Connect the controller with a data USB cable and run option 5.

    If you still have the problem, go back into safe mode and run option 3 - update system software

    I have replied to topics regarding this error on the old forum the error is caused by a corrupted user profile which usually happens to users who connect their systems via WiFi.

    Two fixes you can try.

    Fix 1 Start the PS4 in safe mode and run option 3 Update System Software then update over the Internet to reflash the system software.

    Fix 2 Back up all your save data to USB flash drive and/or PS+cloud storage then delete your user profile then recreate it and sign in with the existing account option.

    Here's a link to the US forums with regards to the same error code.
