Planned maintenance

There is PlayStation Network maintenance scheduled for Monday 23rd March from 16:00 until 18:30 GMT.

For the duration of the maintenance you will be unable to login to Account Management and PlayStation Store.

PlayStation 4 users will be able to access online gameplay only if their system is activated as their Primary system and they have recently signed into their SEN account and have their authentication details cached. If your PS4 system is not activated as the Primary system, online gaming may not be available.

PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita users may experience limited PSN functionality, however online gameplay will be available to users who have recently signed into their SEN account and have their authentication details cached.

Users who do not have their details cached, will not be able to sign-in to their account or begin an online gaming session.

There may be some additional downtime after the maintenance period for testing purposes.

Essential maintenance

Why do we take PSN offline?

To keep PlayStation Network running as a slick, secure gaming and entertainment machine, we sometimes need to take it offline for essential maintenance. This could be to add new services, update the existing features, improve security, or make technical adjustments.

We always try to keep maintenance periods to a minimum and have PSN back online as quickly as possible. This page will keep you updated on what’s coming up so you can plan your gaming sessions accordingly.
