I assume so, it does have cross play now. I've not tried it yet. You don't need to make an account to play single player. Or even (I think) to play PS4 multiplayer.

I'm not sure what to make of it on first impression.

The big plus side, the graphics are very nice, albeit quite a lot of pauses when moving great distances.

But so many messages and menus, was a lot of reading, thought Minecraft was supposed to be about simplicity.

A new currency. Er, yay.

Create a Microsoft account! Never thought I'd see that on a playstation.

My previously very high speed rail (took days to build, i love survival mode) to the nearest village takes absolutely ages now. The carts still crawling along well into the night, when I used to easily be able to travel it in a day cycle.

As far as new games, it's pretty much over unless there are any indie / Japan games being made.

@mont console stock can sit around in supermarkets for years sometimes. Especially in the case of v1 and 2 controllers, which most people prob don't even know about.

It's not really a hidden gem, but persona 5 is a must try for any PS4 RPG fan. One of the few turn based RPGs that even people who don't like that sort of thing like from my experience.

Though there are others who aren't interested at all.

Though the fallout from that episode could be quite important, advertising has become more and more prevalent on social media and YouTube since then, because noone really complains about it. Video gaming is still a 'relatively' ad free pastime at the moment.

Unusual that PS3 will not be able to download previously purchased content. Especially as PS4 still will.

(Yes PS3 is an older system, this is the first time I know of this happening though)
