Wishlist for GT Sport and beyond

Created 15/01/2019

I'll start with Features, Tracks, etc and finish with a Car Wishlist.  The Car Wishlist is a big one and I don't expect it all (or most of it) to make it into the game, since it's a ton of hard work that would take forever along with licensing.  Just thought I'd list this for fun and for the sake of possibility lol.  Thanks Polyphony for all the hard work and updates, very much appreciated.

GT Auto (please bring it back!)
- Oil Change (affects performance, like other GT's)
- Car Wash (cars will get noticeably dirty, like GT3, might affect aerodynamics after awhile?)
- Engine & Transmission Overhaul
- Chassis Repair / Restore Body Rigidity
- Wheels & Paint (The original, no more daily/weekly mileage exchange please) more old school classic 90's/00's JDM wheels along with modern of course (JDM Euro and USDM)
- Maybe a new addition like Performance Tracking along with Wear & Tear details?

Tuning Shop
Please bring the proper Tuning Shop that was in GT3-GT6, where we can buy every type of mechanical part, etc along with their tuning abilities.

Championships in GT Mode
Please bring these back when more tracks are available, with a special award vehicle given after winning Championship.  Gran Turismo 3 had this down to perfection (especially winning those special and rare Polyphony LM Race Cars, etc)

- more Dynamic Weather and Time of Day including Rain
- Drift cars should be listed as Gr. D (Formula Drift)
- Bring back "Dealerships" please!  Brand Central doesn't have that same special feeling (IMO) that "Dealerships" gave in GT3-GT6 (Mainly 3 and 4, though 6's "Dealerships" was good too) along with the special Dealership BGM.  The Dealership Menu AI was always super cool and fun to play with, along with those subtle grayscale backgrounds while the vehicle slowly spins in around for viewing, along with the awesome Dealership Art (GT3/GT4 style).  Brand Central is very boring to look at and use.  Used Cars would be cool to have again as well!
- The current "Home" menus is cool and clean, but the old school "Simulation Mode" made the Menus AI fun to play with and browse, along with the cool art style, where everything is on the screen with big "buttons" such as GT Mode, GT Auto, Garage/Home, Dealerships, Tune Shop, License Center, and Machine Test each with their own unique BGM.  Also, the random fact slideshow is pretty cool but makes the game feel unfocused.  If the fact-slideshow was only about cars and racing history then it would feel more focused, but overall I believe all the facts/info/specs should stay in the Dealerships like they previously were, or in its own custom section.
- This might just be me, but I would love if in GT7 there was an original Score like GT3's with each Menus having its own BGM.  GT3's jazz music score was amazing with a perfect mix of chill and uplifting, along with the driving soundtrack with all the classic rock that pumped you up while racing.  Last but not least, the sound effects for winning a race (and winning a vehicle after a championship) made it feel much more rewarding!

This is why I started playing Gran Turismo. For me and many others, the greatness ended at GT6

I like you in depth ideas. Only thing i dont agree with is the amount of road cars you suggest. I would prefer more racing cars eg a full list of gt3 racing cars like cadillac and bentley and new ford mustang. Then i would be happy with zolder and imolia and outlton park with all variants :)

The addition of an E30 M3 Touring Car / Gr. 3 version custom designed by Polyphony.  Besides the fact it would be super cool, the standard E30 M3 already in the game is extremely slow even fully modified.  It'd be amazing to have an E30 M3 with everything a Gr. 3 car has to offer such as the power and handling.

Actually, if Polyphony Digital just ad three things  then I be a happy driver for years:

    1. Harder AI!

Maybe with an AI difficulty slider from 0-100. But 100 needs to be much faster and harder like the so called "professional" level now.

    2. Option to fill the grid with AI in private lobbies online. Much more fun, with a few friends.

    3. Custom championships offline.

    That's all.

    That's all.

    Rain. PD.

    I want rain 😕

We have rain tyres and no rain, and now it's starting to bother me.

At least remove them instead of teasing us with it.

The tiny wet weather rally stage thing isn't enough to, Ahem... 'Wet'... my appetite 😁

Great post, I’d love to Spa race track in the game and the more modern GR3s like the 720 GR3 and the 488 challenge,  Gr 1 cars are being replaced by this new Hypercar series so that’s something you’d want to see

put in a fair penalty system rather than the crap that’s there now as well
