Yes the beta in the preview program will be limited to only those in the beta program... do you ever actualy get 16 friends to be online at the same time during the beta program... if yes you be perfect to sign up at a later date

  • Increased maximum Party participants from 8 to 16
  • Improved audio quality for voice chat
  • Improved network connectivity

The Beta code issued will be Multi user code, the code you get will be sharable upto a set amount of users 20 different qualifying accounts in your region to try to allow you to get multi friends online at the same time to use the new update...

Second screen app will get voice to text conversion function... (region support specific)

Not to bothered about 16 player party chat. But the better voice chat quality and network connectivity is welcome.

It looks like SIE have finaly given up trying to sell the services to third party to run and have had to pay for upgrades them selves...

I really don't understand the reasoning behind needing 16 people in a chat. I mean only one person can talk at once. After that it is either people talking over each other or muting others so they can talk to others. In which case you may as well just create another party.

So that's why PS+ is going up again.

Can I have the £39.99 a year option with no party chat pls.

would guess that only a handful of us have filled an 8 player chat, so not sure how in demand a 16 one is xD (having the party text chat pop up was a request about 5 years ago though lol).

but better quality & improvements is good for any amount of folks, so thats cool and will help alot of us 8).

PS+ only matters at what price once the actual discount price is announced...
Never paided "full" price ever, so the announced "full" price never realy matters its what the discounts will be reduced to that is what peple actualy pay...

Do we get only 25% off PS+ in offers or is the 50% off PS+ coming back or is the limit only 33% of each year of PS+...

And will Amazon ignore the increase as they have done with there 60K PS+ let over still to sell as they have done before which they got at the OLD price per unit...

If theres no discount offer after increase during the year thats what gets people to not subscribe for another year... as soon as you point out that theres 33% off many instantly resub and then they wait again next year for the offer to show up...

£33 at the 33% discount with PSN chat included...

£38 at the 25% discount with PSN chat included...

Back in the days of forum events, 16-player party chats would have been useful.

I would rather have had independent volumes for people in the chat. So you don't end up with one loud person and 1 quiet person.

Got my code. Redeemed it  hut not planning to update. I believe the codes are valid for 20 users, so I have a code for 19 people if anyone is interested in joining.

I also have a code to share if anyone want's to test the beta out. But take note. If you do update to the beta firmware. You will not be able to join partys that are using the current stable firmware only with people who are on the beta firmware and people on stable firmware can't join beta firmware partys.
