EA E3 2019 Times/Dates/Discussion

As you all know EA no longer attends E3 and instead they do their own event 'EA Play' during the E3 period. So for that reason I'll just name this thread EA E3 so people don't get confused. As you may have heard EA will not be holding a press conference this year but instead will have a day filled with gameplay streams etc showing off new games.

Where Can I Watch EA's Streams?

  • EA's Twitch - https://www.twitch.tv/ea?ref=gametechlab.com
  • EA's YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/user/EA
  • EA like to stay hip with the kids so they will probably have several big YouTubers showing things off on their channels too. Not mine obviously cause it's just too good.

When is EA's Livestream Day?

  • Saturday 8th June 2019 for UK
  • Saturday 8th June 2019 for Europe
  • Depending on when they start the streams probably Saturday/Sunday 8th/9th June 2019 for Australia.

What Games Are Likely To Be Shown?

  • Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order - Announced in April and releasing this November it is very unlikely we won't get a gameplay trailer showing off the game in detail.
  • Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare 3 - Leaked last year and confirmed in a conference call this year, we will 100% see Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare 3. This will probably be one of the games that are shown off on a bunch of YouTubers channels as it's quite popular on a few channels. I absolutely love Garden Warfare.
  • Need For Speed 2019 - A new entry in the Need For Speed series has already been confirmed - once again in a conference call so it's very likely we will see this game.
  • Dragon Age - This was teased at the Game Awards and with Anthem out all hands will be on deck for Dragon Age. Is too early to show Dragon Age 3/4? Guess we'll find out.
  • EA Sports - You can't have an EA event without 50 or so annual sports games being announced.

What games are you all hoping they will show? As long as they reveal PVZGW3 and show off new plant and zombie classes I'm hyped.

Ugh, have to sit through another insufferable EA presentation just to catch a glimpse of Star Wars.

EA tends to be an early morning one for us. Not interested in getting up to see it. No interest in Star Wars. FIFA (also no interest), NBA and NHL will be shown with marginally updated graphics. And next years open world game, full of new issues :D

Wait, didn't EA say they aren't attending E3 this year? Explains why we don't have a time for them.

It says that in the OP. :P

They've done their own event 'EA play' during the E3 period for the last 3 years.

Oh I clearly read it properly lol. I thought maybe you thought they were attending for a change.

Read it now "I'll name it EA E3 so people don't get confused" Look how that turned out 😂

Has Sea of Solitude released yet? If not they may release that game during the event similar to what they did with Unravel 2.

I don't know if it will be one of those Nintendo style "and it's available right now" kind of releases lol. If they do that (with anything), then it's going to be something expected from EA each year in future E3's (well, EA Play)

According to Gamespot "Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order, will get a gameplay reveal at the event*. As well as future content plans for Anthem (which has already fallen well behind schedule), Battlefield V and Apex Legends.

The new Need For Speed will be shown and released this year but not shown at E3. So that's off the list for now.
