Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora™ is a first-person, action-adventure game set in the open world of the never-before-seen Western Frontier of Pandora.

Abducted by the human militaristic corporation known as the RDA, you, a Na’vi, were trained and moulded to serve their purpose. Fifteen years later, you are free, but find yourself a stranger in your birthplace.

Adaptive triggers

Feel the tension of your Na’vi bow string when aiming, or the recoil of your human weapon when firing, and carefully adjust the tension of the triggers while harvesting resources to optimize their quality. 

Haptic feedback

With well over 400 unique haptic effects throughout the game, experience the joyful surprises of Pandora with environmental effects such as waterfalls and lightening strikes, petting wildlife or touching the reactive flora around you and feel how they react through the haptic feedback in your hands. 

3D audio

Pandora constantly reacts to you and to itself. Wildlife panics or quietens after hearing unfamiliar sounds like gunshots or heavy RDA machinery. Plants rustle as you brush past them and wind gusts can be heard in sync with swaying tree branches providing a sense of space and connection to the world that wasn’t possible before.

Ray tracing

PS5's hardware accelerated raytracing, with both raytraced dynamic global illumination and raytraced reflections, fully integrates with all of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora’s rendering systems for terrain, water, fog and clouds. These all adapt dynamically to the game’s changing weather patterns and changes to the time of day for an incredibly lifelike experience.
