PlayStation Now is merging with PlayStation Plus and will be a new multi-tiered PlayStation Plus service. Benefits currently available under PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Now will be part of the new PlayStation Plus service.
If your membership does not expire before the service changes, you will be migrated into a new PlayStation Plus membership plan that retains all of the features and benefits and you have paid for with PlayStation Now.
When you join PS Now on either the free trial or one of the paid subscription plans, we will turn ON automatic funding in your account settings. This means that if you do not have enough funds in your PSN wallet to pay the recurring subscription fee, the required balance will be charged to the payment method registered to your account (if any) unless you turn off automatic funding. To turn off automatic funding, go to 'Account Settings', 'Wallet' then 'Wallet Settings'.
All new customers are eligible for a seven day free trial, which which will roll over into an ongoing subscription, unless cancelled before the end of the trial period.

When you stream a game, you control it through your local device, but the game is run remotely and the video output is streamed to your local device.
To stream games to your PS4, PS5, or PC, you need a broadband internet connection of at least 5Mbps. To stream in 1080p resolution, you must choose a game that supports it and have a broadband internet connection of at least 15Mbps.
Save files for streamed games are stored in the PlayStation Now save cloud. If you wish to download a game to your PS4 or PS5 to continue your progress after streaming it first, you will need to transfer the save data from the PS Now save cloud to your PS Plus cloud storage (trial or paid subscription to PS Plus required), and then download it to your local device from there.
