Battlefield 1

Tips & Tricks

Experience the dawn of all-out war and discover a new world of war on an unmatched scale.

No battle is ever the same in the most immersive and dynamic Battlefield game ever.

  • In Battlefield 1, destruction is more intuitive, more natural and allows you to impact the world around you. Carve a path through walls and buildings and take down your enemies in creative ways.
  • Weather changes unpredictably meaning you’ll need to adapt your tactics to the new parameters. Playing the same map on a bright day, in heavy fog, or in rain will force you to adapt your play style.
  • Operations is a completely new way to experience Battlefield multiplayer. It gives you the opportunity to fight in a sequence of inter-connected battles.

Elite Classes

In Battlefield 1, you can at times deploy as an Elite Class, one of three destructive forces that – if played well – can change the course of the battle:

The Flame Trooper
is wrapped in fire-resistance gear, wears a gas mask, and carries a powerful flamethrower, bringing with him chaos! Stay far away if you can, but if you find yourself eye-to-eye with the Flame Trooper, you’d best muster your courage, fix your bayonet, and charge in to battle before he notices you. One wrong move and you’re likely to spend your last moments seeing red.

The Sentry
moves like a human tank. With a water-cooled automatic machine gun at his hip and strapped in plated armor, the Sentry can shower enemy positions with lead while still being able to withstand a lot of damage. His main weakness is his greatest strength – in order to keep up his defense, he eschews the use of a gas mask in favor of additional armor plating and also moves slower on the battlefield.

The Tank Hunter
has mastered the use of the 1918 Tankgewehr, an absolute beast of a weapon. Standing almost as tall as a man, the Tankgewehr is capable of damaging enemy vehicles over great distances. With a well-placed shot, the Tank Hunter can focus fire on particular parts of the enemy vehicles, taking out the tracks, machine guns, or cannons on armored vehicles.

Battlefield 1 gives you the opportunity to call in the Behemoths - the largest fully player-controlled vehicles ever seen in Battlefield – in Operations or in Conquest multiplayer game modes, depending on the map. All-out war has never felt so epic as you take control of the Armored Train, Air Ship, or the Battleship to dominate the battlefield across land, air and sea.

  • Classes and Teamplay are the recipe for victory! Playing the objective with your teammates is as unique as it is rewarding. Playing together is more effective and even more fun than ever with the Session Persistent Squad. You can now join and jump from a server to another with your squad of friends.
