  • This update introduces changes to how your PS Portal charges in order to support the long-term battery health of your device. After updating, your device will charge to 80% by default. You can change the charge limit at any time in Settings > System > Battery.
    • Selecting a charge limit over 80% might impact battery performance and overall stability, reducing long-term battery health.
  • Make sure to update your PlayStation Link device to the latest device software version to connect to PlayStation Portal.

Depending on the system software version of your PS Portal, you might be asked to download and install multiple updates. This is normal behaviour and doesn’t indicate a problem with your device. After completing these updates, your PS Portal will be able to install future updates with a single download and installation.

    • To comply with regulations for various countries and regions, PS Portal might not support connections to certain public networks, such as 5GHz networks.
  • When you use the touchpad area on the screen during Remote Play, you’ll now see visual feedback.
  • Your PS Portal can now display the remaining battery level as a percentage on the status bar at the top right of the screen. Open the quick menu, go to Settings > System > Battery, and then turn on Show Battery Percentage.
