How to change your PlayStation sign-in ID email address

You can change or recover your sign-in ID email address on PlayStation™Network.

What is a sign-in ID?

Each account has a unique sign-in ID, which corresponds to a valid email address. Email is the primary mode of communication between PlayStation and account holders, and will be used to:

  • verify your account
  • ensure that your details are protected

  • keep you up to date on important account information.

It is recommended that you use an up-to-date and accessible email address.
