Why a PayPal wallet top up might fail

This article explains the reasons that you cannot top up your wallet with PayPal and provides the general steps to try before contacting us.


Follow these steps:

  1. Ensure that your PayPal account was created in the same country as your SEN account.
  2. Sign out of Account Management or exit PlayStation Store and sign back in to refresh your wallet.
  3. Check that your PayPal details are complete and up to date by visiting the PayPal website.
  4. If PlayStation Network is offline check to find out when PlayStation Network will be available and make your purchase after this time.
