How to reset a PSN password

  1. Go to the Account Management sign-in page or tap [sign in] on the PS App. Then select ‘Trouble signing in?’ > ‘I forgot my password’.

If you are automatically signed in to the PS App, go to [Settings] > [Sign Out] and then follow step one.

  2. Enter the requested information. You will be emailed a secure link which expires after 24 hours.

  3. Check your email inbox for the verification email, making sure to search for 'Sony' in all mailboxes, including any spam or junk folders. Click the link in the email or copy and paste the URL into a web browser.

The verification email can take a few minutes to arrive. If you haven't received it within 24 hours, please click here for more help.

  4. Follow the secure link on a PC, Mac or mobile device and fill in the requested information.
