PS4: Change your sign-in ID (email address)

How do I change my sign-in ID?

  1. Select your local user account and go to [Settings] > [PlayStation Network] > [Account Information] > [Sign-in ID].
  2. Enter your password.
  3. Enter your new Sign-In ID (Email Address) and select ‘Confirm’.
  4. If you are changing a sub account sign-in ID the master account will need to authorise this by entering their password.
  5. We will send you a link by email. Click on the link to verify the new email address.
  6. You can now sign-in to your account using your new Sign-in ID.
  7. You will receive an email from playstationnetwork@ac.playstation.net at both your original and new email addresses to notify you of the change.
