How to access PlayStation Store content from a friend’s PlayStation 3

This article explains how you can access your PlayStation Store content from different PlayStation 3 systems.

  1. Go to [Users] > [Create New User] and set up a new Local User account
  2. Go to [PlayStation Network] >  [Sign-Up] and select ‘No, I will use an existing account’.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to activate the PlayStation 3 on your account.
  4. You can now access your PlayStation Network content from your friend’s system.

Note:

  • The number of PlayStation systems that you can activate on your SEN account is limited for each type of content, so don’t forget to deactivate the system from your account when you’re done. Read more about system activation here.
  • If you want to keep your local user account on your friend’s PlayStation 3, make sure of the following to ensure no unauthorised access to your SEN account:
  1. Your password is not saved and your local user is not set up to log in automatically.
  2. You correctly log out of PlayStation Network.
