Two tales of vengeance

In God of War you will discover the origins of Kratos' unstoppable arsenal, the Blades of Chaos; mighty weapons forged in the pits of Hades and handed to him by Ares in a bid to carry out his orders of destruction.

The story begins in Athens where Kratos battles the three-headed monster, Hydra, before embarking on a bloody mission for Athena who wants him to stop Ares and save her city from defeat. In order to do this Kratos must set out on a journey to track down Pandora's Box, which grants any mortal who possesses it the power to defeat a god.

Unfortunately, the box has been locked deep within Pandora's Temple located on the back of the Titan, Cronos, who has been cursed by Zeus to wander the Desert of Lost Souls for all eternity. As this epic story unfolds you will uncover mysteries surrounding Kratos true origins and eventually comes face to face with Ares in a bloody battle to the death.

In God of War II Kratos is stripped of his powers, slain and cast down to an eternity of torment in Hades before being rescued by Gaia, the mother of the Titans, who offers him a deal: help the Titans destroy the gods by locating the Sisters of Fate on the Island of Creation to alter his past and crush Zeus.

Embarking on this perilous journey through mythical lands he comes face to face with ancient legends including the magical horse, Pegasus, the Titan Typhon and Prometheus and Atlas.

Witness the might of the gods

When it comes to rip-roaring revenge epics, no one does it better than Kratos - and now you can experience his blood-pumping PlayStation 2 debut on PlayStation Vita. With God of War Collection, two vengeance fuelled classics are available to you on the move - God of War and God of War II.

Despite his hulking frame, Kratos is the perfect fit for PS Vita. The action is fast and smooth, whether you're battling hordes of undead foot soldiers or the screen-filling Colossus of Rhodes. And the many special effects of Kratos' godlike magic explode into life on the PS Vita system's crisp screen.

There are plenty of extras to keep you on your toes, too. Along with all the unlockable bonuses found in the original PlayStation 2 versions, there is also full Trophy support so you can feel as mighty as Kratos while you smash everything in your path.

Unleash your fury

In God of War Collection you have a huge arsenal of moves at your disposal, all of which you'll need to master if you are to defeat the throngs of creatures sent to destroy you. Mixing up combo attacks with on-screen prompts that trigger hugely imaginative and bloody finishing moves, the extreme action envelops you into one of the most ambitious and adrenaline-fuelled sagas on PlayStation.

In addition to the many weapons at your disposal, such as the Blades of Chaos, you are also granted numerous gifts from the Greek gods including devastating magic attacks that play a key role in defeating some of the game's tougher opponents - including the gargantuan Titans.

Controlling Kratos is a breeze thanks to the PS Vita system's dual analog sticks, while inventive use of the rear touch pad lets you seamlessly interact with items such as treasure chests and moveable boxes.

With intimidating bosses and some truly monumental encounters with mythical creatures, God of War and God of War II are defining titles in PlayStation 2 history that you can now experience wherever you go on PlayStation Vita.
