  • During each stage, PlayStation Store will be temporarily brought offline for countries where the currency is changing so that we can complete our final updates. We are working hard to keep the downtime to a minimum so that full access is restored as soon as possible.
  • Whilst PlayStation Store is offline for your country, you will not be able to make any purchases.
  • When PlayStation Store is back online again after we have completed our updates, you’ll be able to shop at PlayStation Store, make purchases using all available payment methods, and view your charges in local currency at a glance, all without the need to convert from another currency.
  • During maintenance, the funds in your wallet will be converted using an exchange rate and rounded up to the nearest decimal value supported in your country. See the rate below that will be used for the wallet conversion in your country.

  • Existing PlayStation Gift cards in US Dollar will remain valid. Any redemptions on or after maintenance completion will be converted to your local currency using the same formula for wallet funds.
  • To facilitate the transition from US Dollar to your local currency, we will unfortunately have to pause promotions in your country for a short period of time. We anticipate promotions returning on 23 September 2026. We appreciate your patience while we make these changes.
  • After maintenance has been completed for PlayStation Store in your country, you will no longer be able to make purchases from PlayStation Store on PlayStation®3 consoles.
  • If you’ve previously set a monthly spending limit for a child account, you will need to set it up again.

Subscriptions renewals during maintenance

  • If you have subscriptions where the payment date falls during the maintenance period, we will ensure that your subscriptions will carry on whilst the maintenance is taking place and payment is taken after the maintenance has been completed.
  • You can change or cancel your subscription or check your subscription renewal date at any time. Please follow the link below.

Subscription pricing updates on PlayStation

  • As a result of the conversion to local currency, there may be a small difference in the recurring cost of your subscription when converted vs the prior US Dollar cost.
  • You can change or cancel your subscription or check your subscription renewal date at any time. Please follow the link below.

Adjustments to PlayStation Stars points
