How to adjust security settings on PSN

Learn how to change account details such as sign-in ID, password, security question and mobile number.

PlayStation Support will never ask you for your password. Sharing your details can compromise the security of your account, so never tell anyone else your password.

How to change PlayStation™Network security settings 

  1. Go to Account Management on a connected device. 
  2. Select Security. From the Security menu, you can Edit your password, security question and mobile phone number, and manage 2-step verification.
  1. Go to the home screen and select Settings > Users and Accounts > Account > Security.
  2. Here you can change your password, security question and mobile phone number, and manage 2-step verification.
  1. Go to Settings > Account Management > Account Information > Security. You will be asked to enter your sign-in ID and password.
