The following card types can be used on PlayStation Store:
Account holders over the age of 18* can use a credit or debit card to top up their PSN wallet. The added funds can then be used to make purchases from PlayStation Store.
Your card details are stored after your first purchase, so you won't need to enter the information again. You can store up to three cards on your account.
*Child family members and sub accounts do not have a PSN wallet, and cannot have payment methods associated with their accounts.
Please note that funds added to your wallet cannot be refunded to your credit or debit card, in line with the PlayStation Store Cancellation Policy. |
American Express cannot be used in the following PlayStation Stores:
When you subscribe to a service (such as PS Plus) the wallet function ‘Automatically Add Funds to Renew Subscriptions or Pay for Pre-ordered Content’ is switched on. This function allows your linked payment method to be debited if your PSN wallet does not have sufficient funds for a payment.
You can switch off automatic funding or cancel a subscription at any time.
