How to change your Sign-in ID email address

Learn how to change or recover your Sign-in ID email address on PlayStation Network.

What is a Sign-in ID?

Each  account has a unique Sign-in ID, which corresponds to a valid email address. Email is the primary mode of communication between PlayStation and account holders, and will be used to:

  • verify your account
  • ensure your details are protected
  • keep you up to date on important account information.

As a result, it is strongly recommended that you use an up-to-date and accessible email address.
