First there was the original movie, then a game of the movie some years later. Now the movie is being brought back to the silver screen, remade, so guess what? You got it - a new Italian Job game for PS2, brought to you by Climax and Eidos.
The timeless British cinematic classic needs little introduction. The plot is the same as it always has been, with betrayal, traffic agitating, gold-stealing et al; you know the deal. However, things are a little different this time around. As in the movie (which stars Charlize Theron, Edward Norton and Mark Wahlberg), the new Mini Cooper is the car of choice, in which you can tear around the streets of LA, bomb down staircases and speed through sewers. There are three gaming modes to enjoy - Story, Circuit and Stunt Driving, the latter of which offers something a little different to your average four wheel adventure, while the ability to explore the many facets of LA, and Hollywood of course, is another notable selling point. Fifteen missions woven together with cut-scenes mean that aficionados of The Italian Job can get the full interactive experience on PS2.
