Like most characters in the game, Chun-Li has a range of anti-air options. Standing light kick, back heavy kick and EX Spinning Bird Kick are all viable from certain ranges. Plus if you really have a read on your opponent, her air throw can work wonders.

Like most grappling characters, Mika must make her opponent fearful of her command grabs without relying on them too heavily. If you like the idea of stalking opponents and then punishing them heavily for the slightest mistake, then Mika is definitely worth considering.

Rashid has an unusual fireball that moves in an upward trajectory. This makes jumping in on him risky because if the fireball connects in the air he can follow up with his Eagle Spike dive kick.
V-Skill: Front Flip/Rolling Assault
V-Trigger: Ysaar
Rashid's V-Skills let him flip through the air and roll under fireballs. His V-Trigger creates a slow-moving tornado that can extend combos, pin oponents down and make some of his speical moves safer.
Why should I play as Rashid?
With his forward run, wall jumps, Spinning Mixer and evasive V-Reversal, Rashid is one of the more unorthodox characters in the game. If you like laying the smackdown in style, there really is no other choice.

Vega's V-Skill lets him evade an attack - such as a fireball - before lashing out with his signature claw. His V-Trigger lets him throw a rose from the ground or the air and, if it successfully connects, Vega will dive towards his opponent for a follow-up attack.

When it comes to mobility, Vega is the most nimble character in the game. He can frustrate opponents in to overcommitting with his mid-range pokes and then capitalise on their mistakes with his versatile Critical Art.

Known as the Red Cyclone in his native Russia, Zangief is a living mountain of muscle who wrestles bears for fun. He first appeared in Street Fighter II with his signature spinning pile driver.

Before you can start landing Zangief's trio of command grabs, you have to make the opponent fear his normal attacks. The standing headbutt, in particular, is great for beating normal attacksand comboing into big damage.
V-Skill: Iron Muscle
V-Trigger: Cyclone Lariat
Zangief's V-Skills let him absorb two attacks with being knocked back. His V-Trigger sucks opponents towards him and makes his V-Skill even more potent.
Why should I play as Zangief?
Tied with Birdie for the most health in the game, Zangief can afford to take a few hits as he tries to lock opponents down. He may have lost his Banishing Flat (Green Hand) special move from Street Fighter IV, but his new Borscht Dynamite air grab lets him defend the skies like never before.
