Preparing the music tracks

The method for importing music tracks varies depending on the model of the PSP™ system.

  • PSP-1000/2000/3000/E1000 series:
Import music files to the Memory Stick Duo™ media inserted in the PSP™ system.
  • PSP-N1000 series:
Import music files to the system storage. SensMe™ channels cannot be used to play music tracks that have been saved on Memory Stick Micro™ (M2™) media.

The following steps are for use when transferring music tracks to the PSP™ system using the "Media Go" application.
You can also use SensMe™ channels to play music tracks that are transferred using a PS3™ system or a music management application other than "Media Go". For more information, refer to the online user's manual for the PS3™ system or the instruction manual for the music management application.
