Downloading the SensMe™ channels application using a PC

You can download the SensMe™ channels application to your PSP™ system using a PC. To download, follow the steps below.

1. 

Connect the PSP™ system and the PC using a USB cable.

If you are using a PSP-1000/2000/3000/E1000 series system, you must have Memory Stick Duo™ media inserted in the PSP™ system.
   

2. 

Create folders for the files to be downloaded.

  • For PSP-1000/2000/3000/E1000 series systems:
    Create folders on the Memory Stick Duo™ media using the folder names listed below:


  • For PSP-N1000 series systems:
    Create folders in the system storage using the folder names listed below:

Hint:

If a folder with the same name already exists, you do not have to create a new folder.
   

3. 

Download the files to the [NPIA00013] folder by following the steps below:

(1) Select the button below to download the first file.
Do not change the file name [EBOOT.PBP].
Download file 1
(2) Select the button below to download the second file.
Do not change the file name [SENSME.DAT].
Download file 2
   

4. 

After the files are downloaded, press the circle button on the PSP™ system to exit out of USB mode.

Notice

You must use the folder names specified in step 2 above and the file names specified in step 3 above. If you do not save the files in the correct location and with the names shown above, the system will not recognize the application.

Hint

If you are using a PSP-1000/2000/3000/E1000 series system, you can download the files to Memory Stick Duo™ media using either of the methods listed below. In this case, you do not have to connect your PSP™ system to the PC using a USB cable.

  • Connect a commercially available Memory Stick™ USB reader/writer to the PC.
  • Use the Memory Stick™ slot on the PC.
